After expecting it for so many days, the English summer camp finally arrived this morning.

First we watched the video for the opening ceremony of 20XX, which deeply impressed me by the happiness and fun it showed through the scenes that students were singing, dancing, giving performances, and playing games and so on last year.

As a shy student from basic science class 51 with the name ZouHaibo ,and now also in class 51,G Province, who is even not dare to speak loudly and not able to speak fluently in public, I was encouraged by the words shown on the screen at the end of the video: Seize the enjoyment, Seize the opportunity!

Actually, it really helped me later.

It was the oral English class and in front of us was standing our teacher Lila Betray in room 6A403, who is a university student from the USA.

Somehow we came to the point that whether any of us could sing a pop English song in front of the class. You know, maybe three or more out of ten Chinese students are shy in class to some extent and unfortunately, it seemed that all of those had came to our class for a get-together. As a result, there was silence in class for quite a moment, which made everybody feel rather embarrassed, including the teacher.

As I mentioned, I was a shy boy. So, you can imagine that I had got quite used to doing nothing at all in situations of this kind, which meant I never thought of becoming a "hero".

However, just at that moment, a great idea struck my mind suddenly. "Seize the enjoyment, seize the opportunity!" Yes, this couldn't be a better opportunity," I said to myself," Why not seize it? Why should I have always to be the poor guy regretting for missing the opportunity just because of shyness or the lack of confidence? Yes, maybe I should have a try! Anyway, if you never make the first step, you will never get a result."

So, without any hesitation, I raised my hand. I remembered that it took me quite a while to think what the song's name is after I was asked this question. But their clapping hands told me that I did do the job well (at least I think so) though I had song no more than five sentences because of my forgetting the lyric. Later I got one yuan as a reward and I'm really satisfied.

I think that is one of the most unforgettable moments in my life. Through this experience, I've also got to know that you should believe that you can do the job well, no matter how difficult it seems for you. Just have a little more courage, and you will enjoy your life better.

  一生一次的经历演讲稿 篇3

I’m glad to be here to share one of my unforgettable experiences with you.

Once, we were practicing a dialogue. Several pairs had done it well. When I asked two students to do it , but one failed in talking. I was surprised, because she is a not bad girl. I thought she could do it well, although she didn’t raised her hand.

Why Her face became red and she was so shy. I think it’s very common that a student feels nervous in class. English is a foreign language. Our students are only beginners. Everyone may havetroubles in talking. It’s not a serious problem. The most important is what can we do when they feel nervous.

I also realized that she was nervous because she joined the class just a week ago. What should I do? I smiled to her and said,"Don’t be nervous, I believe you can do it well. Just have a try. "But she still kept in silence. I had to let her sit down, but I said to her with a smile on my face, “Listen carefully and later try it again, OK? ” She smiled ,too. After another two dialogues , she raised her hand confidently. Did she do a good job? Of course!

Since then, she’s never nervous in class and seldom fails in talking. I think , as a student, she’s successful. As a teacher, I’m successful , too.

What’s more,I often say to my students, “In my class, don’t be nervous. Just try your best to express yourselves ,just to speak English loudly , right or false is not the most important, courage and confidence is the most important! Believe you’ll do better and better! ” I think my words can help my students keep confident. Let students to be your friends, let them study in the happy time not in nervous every day, please. Do you think so?

Thanks for your listening, thank you.

Everyone has some unforgettable experiences.Me too! Today I am glad to share my experiences now .

They are all unique , but they are not always the most important things . In the morning, we got to the hotel where we lived. After breakfast, we began to our travel. First we took the bus to the Sea Park. There are so many different kinds of fishes that I couldn’t believe my eyes. We also saw the show of dolphins. Then we had lunch in a restaurant. The seafood which was very famous in China was delicious. After lunch we went swimming. The sea was blue and beach was golden. We all enjoyed ourselves in the sea. Finally we went back the hotel where we lived.

We had a happy day.In this trip, we also went to some places which were interesting and famous in Dalian, went shopping and so on.Several days later, we left Dalian. On our way home, we were very happy. This was the reason why we didn’t feel tired. In all, we had a good holiday. One of my most unforgettable experiences occurred on my five years old,.One Sunday afternoon, this is my first time to play computer. Dad said: "this is a mouse, this is the keyboard......"

Then, dad in a hurry go out, the story of a rich lessons took place. I sit at the computer in front, according to pass together, the result out an reads something, I feel very curious, and then press the ok. Then, an icon on the computer screen immediately, it turns out the key is to take away the "junk" on the computer screen. Too good, I want to take away all the "junk". Then I according to the steps to remove just now. I can be entertained, and also called out: "I I ..." In a short time, I was confused: why online neighbors and my computer and how to the recycle bin not. When dad came back, I happily tell dad I help clean up garbage process, computer's dad hit the ceiling result, originally I not clear "junk", but my dad spent most of the genius has installed the software yesterday, dad immediately called me a dog blood spray head.

Through this thing I got a lesson: curiosity is not no, but some people are just ran a curse because of curiosity, so we are curious to curious, don't more hands feet, so as not to trouble.

I am sure this is event is one of my unforgettable experiences all my life!

  一生一次的经历演讲稿 篇5

Honorable judges, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen:

It is a great honor and pleasure to be here on this beautiful Saturday morning to share with you my sentiments about life and passion for the English language.

About a year and a half ago, I took part in my very first English Speech Contest. When I stood before the microphone with all eyes starring directly at me, I could hardly speak. I stood there, embarrassed and helpless, struggling in vain for the right thing to say. My fears had paralyzed me.

While my passion for English has never changed, I lost my courage to speak in public. When my professor again encouraged me to take part in this Competition, I said “no.” I couldn’t endure yet another painful experience. He looked me

straight in the eye and said something that pierced my heart. I will never forget his words. “Look,” he said, “We all have our fears, and you have yours. You could twist your ankle in a basketball game, but then be afraid to ever play again. Running away can never dispel your fears, but action will. A winner is not one who never fails, but one who never quits.”

I spent a whole day with his words twisting and turning in my mind. Then I made the bravest and wisest decision of my life: I would face my fears – and take part in the competition!

As it turned out, my dear old professor was right. Now, here I am, once again standing before a microphone. My heart is beating fast, and my mouth is dry, but most importantly, I have faced my fears -- and that makes all the difference!

  Thank you.
